[...] Day Three of the Giveaway Celebration Event « a beautiful ripple … [...]
I love reading about real life of the blog owner, especially if it’s written with some wit and honesty. I like reading about people who have different experiences than my own – makes for an interesting blog. I also love crafty blogs, with lots of tutorials. Thanks for hosting.
(Not entering because I already won, but I thought I’d answer the question anyway.)
I love reading about other people’s lives, especially if they’re different from mine and the entries are well-written, and I love reading about things I can do like crafts and recipes.
OK, I’m trying again. Those mini binders are calling my name!
I love reading about personal struggles of a creative person, or any sort of inspiring personal story. Don’t get me wrong – I also get something out of “Top 5 Ways to Yada Yada” with a bulletpointed list attached. But I only find a take away there if the post digs deeper, and if there’s a connection that the author has to it.
My Mom won your last giveaway but now I want to win. Mom and I discussed what we want to read about and we did agree, we like to read about issues that we all encounter, like depression, overworked, overwhelmed. Being lucky, being thankful; basically feelings. My brother died of a drug overdose, my grandmother of leukemia, my Dad of cancer and my mom had breast cancer.
There is a lot of “feeling” to cover and that appeals to us both.

I love reading about real people dealing with the same everyday stress that I’m dealing with! Misery loves company!!! It’s heartwarming to know there are others facing the same obstacles I am and sharing ways to overcome them.
