Give & Receive: Creating A Beautiful Ripple Effect in 2010
In honor of A Beautiful Ripple Effect’s First Birthday, I am throwing an end of the year party! In school, end of the year parties consist of teacher evaluations, final exams, and lots of cupcakes. I’m throwing out the final exam, but have decided that it’s about time for YOU to help me improve this blog for 2010. Truthfully, I can’t believe how much I love blogging and the incredibly community that has formed. I am honored that you read my little (okay, pretty long) posts and have taken time out of your busy lives to support my journey (and all of its bumps) over the past year.
The Party Details
- Who
- You! Anyone who has been a part of A Beautiful Ripple Effect 2009 — via twitter, blogs, the book release, facebook … that’s about a million people, but please – no party crashers!

- An End of the Year Party with multiple events (including amazing giveaways)

- Right Here! On A Beautiful Ripple Effect…. and possibly a few other “secret” locations TBD

- To create a beautiful ripple effect in 2010 (and as a fun way to gather the community that has formed over the past year)

Complete the survey to be entered into the event giveaway. Giveaways will be selected at random using random.org. Each individual can receive up to 3 points in this event. Only one individual per household can enter. The points earned in this event will carry over to the next event, unless you are a recipient of this giveaway. Confused – Hope Not! Congratulations on your one year anniversary! I can’t thank you enough for writing a book that has touched my heart in such a way that it will never be forgotten. It’s like you could honestly read my feelings, emotions and everything I’ve been though.

Hi Carolyn, Your blog has meant so much to me. Very much needed during this crazy year, too busy, overwhelmed and two surgeries but so fortunate to have found you on facebook. Nothing happens by accident. I found you and your website when I was needing strength and inspiration. I needed your daily posts on facebook and the blog, which I printed and took to bed with me many times to read before I went to sleep and when I did that and do, I wake with a much better outlook, energized and ready for the day. Hi Carolyn, your blog is absolutely amazing. I stumbled upon it earlier this year when I was going through a tough time and often to just sit down and read through some of the posts have been all I needed to pick me up. At times this year I have been struggling to keep going but your posts are so encouraging in showing me that there is always light and that I should keep pushing through.
You are such an amazing person with all that you do, with helping kids though CCC and you really are an inspiration to all.
I am really looking forward to reading your book, which I have just ordered recently, but I’m all the way over in Australia so I am waiting for it to arrive. As I had a small chordoma removed last year and have just completed first year uni this year and if the book is anywhere near as wonderful as your blog, I know it will be amazing.
