Tuesday Treasures: What do you treasure?

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself. -Walter Anderson

Typically, I share a few snippets of information and inspiration (little treasures) with you; however, this week, it’s time to turn the tables and begin to think about treasures on a more personal level. And that includes me!

This is an invitation for you to intentionally explore the positive aspects of your life.

A compendium of words associated with “treasure” (found through various resources – dictionary, thesaurus, online exploration).

:: a personal treasure hunt ::

“As humans we look at things and think about what we’ve looked at. We treasure it in a kind of private art gallery.” -Thom Gunn

–> What does “treasure” mean to you?

“Happiness is your own treasure because it lies within you.” -Prem Rawat

–> What do you treasure?

Take Action: This week, focus on the good – filter the negative. Create a list of what you treasure in your life (the little things and/or the big things). Really practice attending to what’s most important to you.

It’s a personal treasure hunt – and you are creating your own map!

I’ll be playing along as well and would love to share thoughts in the comments below.

Let the hunt begin!
