Giveaway for Paper Lovers
It’s no secret that I am obsessed with all things paper. I dream of one day opening a gorgeous boutique dedicated solely to paper — some people are jewelry designers, well I’d be a paper designer (from printer paper to index cards, I love it all!).
I’m excited to host a giveaway that will appeal to paper addicts and even non paper addicts (i.e., people who see paper as paper — oh, I can’t imagine).
The Giveaway: 250 Die Cut Business Cards from UPrinting
All of the juicy details are outlined at the bottom of this post.
If you’re not a paper lover, skip to the giveaway details below. Fellow paper lovers, let’s let our imaginations run wild! Think of all the fun things you could do with this giveaway (and business cards, in general). Business cards are no longer limited to business information. In fact, many people are getting creative and using the cards in a multitude of ways. For example, you could put your name on the cards and use the white space to write a memorable message or idea (e.g., “loved chatting over coffee. you are such a lovely person”). Wouldn’t that card be nice to slip into your friend’s bag after coffee… or to give to a potential client as a more personal memento to trigger positive thoughts when they think about working with you (a little psychology trick)? You could use the cards as “blog cards” and list your blog’s name and web address so you can spread your reach beyond the blogosphere … when you chat with someone at yoga who would love your content (hand them a little blog card) or to give to fellow bloggers at a conference or workshop. Or one of my favorite ideas: create cards with a positive message and leave them in random spots for others to find. I told you I was a paper addict!

I’d definitely get some stylin’ business cards… although the positive messages are a pretty good idea, too.

I knew we were somehow divinely connected… It’s always been my dream to open a stationery store! In the meantime, I’d love to be entered in the drawing. =)
I love paper! And until you open up your own shop, I can make do with someone else’s lovely selection :)
Yay for all things paper! I love collecting paper of all types and repurposing them as quick cards, tags, and even simple notes of encouragement. I’d love to add these business cards to my collection!
Carolyn, Carolyn, Carolyn, I think this could be just the thing to turn my setback into a comeback! Entering on a whim but now have become extremely hopeful. Thank YOU!

What a great idea (using business cards for something other than business, I mean) (well, the giveaway is a great idea too)! I’ve always thought that “calling cards” were so very chic!
I love paper in a way that I cannot describe. I have made journals from recycled paper, made cards, envelopes, you name it!!! This is exciting because I am working on a new project that involves people that I do not know at all. I will be reaching out to strangers just to get a feel for what they are searching for. Thank you for all that you do. I truly appreciate all of your talent!!! Be well…

What an awesome opportunity! I don’t consider myself a paper “lover,” per say, but I do enjoy a lovely stationary or a unique card! I would love to win these cards because I am trying to start marketing myself as an artist and get my art out there! Cards are a great way to network, promote myself, and get myself out there more and more!
I also love quotes and think using business cards with a lovely quote to randomly drop in someone’s bag or coat pocket is also a cool idea comparable to the one you shared :)
Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Hello Carolyn,
Ahh … paper … I, too, am a paper addict – and proud of it. I could lose myself in my favorite card shop whenever feeling blue and emerge uplifted and inspired to write.
In Sonoma, California there was a card, stationery, and paper store on the square – Papyrus – that was my absolute favorite! Talk about being inspired – this shop was fabulous. My sister said she was never sure if my visits with her were actually subterfuge so I could spend time in Papyrus. Hmmm …. :)
Though emailing and texts are efficient tools, and definitely have their place, there isn’t anything that can take the place of a hand written letter … written on beautiful paper!
Your idea is great regarding the varied uses for business cards … I think I will have some made up.

Oooh, I’ve been eying those leaf-shaped cards for a while now… How perfect for my all-natural skin care line! :) I just stumbled on your site from TMF project, and loving it already!
My husband and I sat on our patio last night and wrote out a business plan for a new business. We are both feeling over the moon! We’re excited about the possibilities ahead of us and thrilled about taking leaps towards our goals. The UPrinting cards look fabulous and would definitely come in handy as we pursue our dream.

LOVE stationery and business/calling cards. Also love your blog; I have been lurking for a few weeks but this is my first comment. xoxo
Hurry and open that paper boutique. I love paper and all the types available. Fully of yummy goodness.
You must really be an expert when it comes to choosing paper Carolyn. I have seen the cards, and it looks so classy. I like the idea of putting messages as well as creative designs on the business cards, especially if we want to have a good impression. One of the ways that I judge people is through the way they present themselves and having a good business card shows’ how serious and professional we are.
